Pics show rare 'doomsday fish' washed up on beach in US' California

Scripps Institution of Oceanography has shared pictures of a rare oarfish, also known as the 'doomsday fish', which washed up on a beach in US' California. The 9 to 10-foot-long fish was spotted by a doctoral student at the institute. In August, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit Los Angeles two days after an oarfish was found off the coast of California.
