Pics show sweets listed as 'Ram Mandir prasad' on Amazon, govt issues notice

The government has issued a notice to Amazon over the sale of sweets on its platform under the name 'Shri Ram Mandir Ayodhya Prasad'. "Enabling the sale of food products...that make false representations misleads consumers regarding product's genuine characteristics," the government said. Amazon has been asked to respond within 7 days, failing which necessary action may be initiated against them.
