The Ministry of Railways shared pictures on X showing the progress of bullet train project in Surat, Gujarat. "Advancing at bullet speed," it wrote. India's first high-speed rail corridor will connect Ahmedabad and Mumbai, with trains running at 220-320 kmph speed. The first train is expected to run between Surat and Bilimora in 2026, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw earlier said.
