Pig's heart transplanted into US man in world's 2nd such attempt
Surgeons have transplanted a pig's heart into a 58-year-old man in US, making him the second ever patient in the world to undergo this experimental feat. The man had a terminal heart disease, deeming him ineligible for a traditional human heart transplant, doctors said. He is recovering well and communicating with his loved ones, University of Maryland Medical Center said.
