Activist Nutan Thakur Monday filed a PIL at Allahabad HC against centre’s Bharat Nirman advertisements and use of Sonia Gandhi's photographs in them. Claiming the ads present useless facts for the public, the PIL alleges them as waste of public money for self-oriented political goals. It seeks ban on political advertisements and restriction on putting photographs of non-constitutional political persons.
