PIL against Dream11 over gambling and tax evasion dismissed

The Bombay High Court has dismissed a PIL against fantasy sports platform Dream11 that alleged the platform was conducting gambling and evading taxes. The court held that Dream11 is a game of skill and not a game of chance, and doesn't amount to gambling. Since Dream11 doesn't allow gambling, the court said the allegation of GST evasion holds no merit.
