Pilgrimage to Kerala's Sabarimala temple suspended today amid heavy rainfall

Pilgrimage to Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala in Kerala's Pathanamthitta has been suspended for a day on Saturday owing to heavy rainfall and rising water levels in major rivers, including Pamba. District Collector Divya S Iyer said pilgrims who have booked a slot will be given an opportunity for "darshan" (viewing) in the nearest possible slot once weather conditions turn favourable.
