Pilot fired by GoAir for tweet on PM had served in IAF for 25 years
The pilot sacked by GoAir for a derogatory tweet against PM Narendra Modi is an Indian Air Force veteran who served for 25 years. The pilot, Unish 'Miki' Malik, retired in 2010 as a Group Captain. He reportedly had a stint in the VVIP Squadron, officially known as Air HQ Communication Squadron. Malik later apologised and deleted the offensive tweet.
