Pilot killed, tourist injured in paragliding accident in Himachal

An experienced pilot was killed and the accompanying tourist was injured after a tandem paraglider reportedly developed a technical malfunction shortly after take-off and crashed in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district. The incident occurred at the Bir Billing paragliding site. Reportedly, the ambulance carrying the pilot was caught in traffic, delaying treatment by nearly an hour.
