Pilot reborn: Hegseth as he likens Iran rescue on Easter with Jesus' resurrection

As US rescued the second F-15E crew member from Iranian territory on Easter Sunday, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth likened it to Jesus Christ's resurrection. He said, "Flown out of Iran as the sun was rising on Easter Sunday, a pilot reborn." He also noted that the jet had been shot down on Good Friday, which marks Christ's crucifixion.
