Pink smart cards to be made mandatory from July for women to travel for free on DTC buses

Pink Saheli Smart Cards will reportedly be made mandatory for women to travel for free in DTC buses from July, while the pink tickets will be discontinued. Women need to tap their cards on conductor’s ETM machine to avail free travel. However, only woman residents of Delhi can obtain these smart cards. Currently, any woman can use the pink tickets.
