Piped gas distribution expanded from 70 to 700 cities in 12 yrs: PM

Addressing the nation on the 80th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi said that piped gas distribution was available in only 70 cities across the country before 2014. "In these 12 years, we have expanded this coverage from 70 cities to 700. This is the pace of progress; this is the scale of expansion," PM Modi added.
