Piramal, Bain-backed IndiaRF acquires majority stake in Impresario

India Resurgence Fund (IndiaRF), an investment platform backed by Piramal Enterprises and Bain Capital, announced investing ₹550 crore in food and beverage firm Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality. With the transaction, IndiaRF has become the majority shareholder of Impresario. According to an official release, the fresh capital will help fuel the further expansion of Impresario's business.
