Paralympian Oscar Pistorius removed his prosthetic legs to walk on stumps for his sentencing hearing on Wednesday. Pistorius’ lawyer asked the athlete to remove his artificial limbs and show that he wasn’t a “strong, ambitious man winning gold medals”. Pistorius was released on bail last year after 10 months in jail, part of a five-year sentence for murdering his girlfriend.
