Piyush Chawla, 2nd highest wicket-taker in IPL history, goes unsold on Day 1 of mega auction

Veteran leg-spinner Piyush Chawla, who's the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL history, went unsold on Day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Chawla had set his base price at ₹50 lakh. Chawla was bought by MI in IPL 2023 auction for a price of ₹50 lakh. He took 22 wickets in IPL 2023 and 13 wickets in IPL 2024.
