Piyush Goyal appointed as Leader of House in Rajya Sabha

Union Minister Piyush Goyal has been appointed as the Leader of House in the Rajya Sabha. This comes after he was appointed as the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles in the Cabinet reshuffle. He replaced senior BJP leader Thaawarchand Gehlot, who was sworn in as the Governor of Karnataka on Sunday.
