Piyush Goyal urges Japanese firms to buy steel from India
India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal urged Japanese firms to buy steel from India during a roundtable meeting with businesses in Japan on Monday. He said India imposes 12% safeguard duty on low-grade steel compared to around 50% imposed by US, UK and EU. Goyal is visiting Japan until August 27 with India's largest-ever business delegation of 200 representatives.
