Placed in house arrest on Martyrs' Day eve: Mehbooba Mufti's daughter

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti's daughter Iltija Mufti claimed on Sunday that both of them have been placed under house arrest in Srinagar ahead of Martyrs' Day observance in J&K. "This is the normalcy they claim to have established in Kashmir?" Iltija said. Notably, Martyrs' Day is observed in J&K as tribute to 22 persons killed by Dogra Army in 1931.
