Plane seen ripping through paraglider's canopy mid-air in Austria

A video has emerged showing a sightseeing plane ripping through a paraglider's canopy just some feet above her head at the Austrian Alps, which left the woman spinning and struggling mid-air. The 44-year-old, while rapidly losing altitude, managed to open the emergency parachute and landed. Austrian police deployed a helicopter to transport her to a local airport for medical checks.
