Plastic waste recycled for road project in Chhattisgarh

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, plastic waste is being used in Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) for rural road construction in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district, ANI reported. An experimental road in Mainpat mixed plastic waste with bitumen as part of the initiative. As per officials, environmental pollution will be reduced and sustainable rural infrastructure development will be promoted.
