Platform ticket sale stopped at New Delhi station after stampede

The railways have decided to restrict the sale of platform tickets at New Delhi railway station for a week starting Monday following a stampede that killed at least 18 people. The tickets won't be available for purchase from 4 pm to 11 pm. The station is witnessing a rush as Mahakumbh Mela is approaching its end.
