Platform ticket sale to be restricted from March 8-16 in Mumbai

Mumbai Central Railway plans to restrict platform ticket sales at six stations from March 8 to 16 to avoid heavy crowds during Holi. The railway is also introducing permanent waiting areas outside 60 stations across India, allowing passengers to enter platforms only when trains arrive. This move aims to control crowding and prevent untoward incidents.
