Platform ticket sales suspended in Delhi due to massive crowd

Northern Railway has suspended platform ticket sales at six Delhi-NCR stations from November 3 to 14, 2026, to manage the Diwali and Chhath travel rush. The affected stations are New Delhi, Delhi Junction, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Ghaziabad, Anand Vihar Terminal and Anand Vihar Halt. Exemptions may be provided to people accompanying passengers who need assistance.
