Platforms must take responsibility for hosted content: Vaishnaw

Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said digital platforms must take responsibility for the content they host, noting that online safety of children and all citizens is their responsibility. He added AI-generated content must only be created with consent and that digital platforms must uphold trust. The minister warned that non-adherence to these principles would make the platforms accountable.
