Player named Flying Dutchman scored flying header in 2014 WC

Netherlands' Robin van Persie, nicknamed 'Flying Dutchman' by Arsenal supporters, scored a diving header against Spain in the World Cup on June 13, 2014. Netherlands, who went on to win the match 5-1, were trailing 0-1, when Van Persie guided a Daley Blind cross into the net in the 44th minute. The goal was nominated for the 2014 Puskás Award.
