England all-rounder Sam Curran, who won Player of the Tournament award for taking 13 wickets in T20 World Cup 2022, worked as a commentator in T20 World Cup 2021 while recovering from a back injury. The 24-year-old had sustained the injury during IPL 2021. Curran was the only bowler to take a five-wicket haul in T20 World Cup 2022.
