PLI schemes draw ₹2.16 lakh cr, create 14.39 lakh jobs

India's PLI schemes have attracted ₹2.16 lakh crore in investments, driven ₹20.41 lakh crore in production, and created over 14.39 lakh jobs across sectors, said Jitin Prasada, MoS, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, in Rajya Sabha. The initiative has boosted manufacturing, exports, and reduced import dependence under the Make in India push.
