PM announces 'Project Rhino', lauds conservation efforts on World Rhino Day

PM Narendra Modi took to social media on Tuesday on the occasion of World Rhino Day and praised efforts across India to protect the one-horned rhinoceros. He also announced 'Project Rhino' for providing financial help to states for habitat management and genetic improvement of rhinos. Assam holds nearly 80% of the world's rhino population, PM Modi further said.
