PM announces ₹1,000cr more for Fani hit Odisha, praises CM Patnaik

In addition to ₹381 crore released last week, PM Narendra Modi on Monday announced additional ₹1,000 crore assistance for cyclone Fani hit Odisha. The PM further praised state CM Naveen Patnaik for handling the state's situation during the cyclone. PM Modi also announced ₹2 lakh ex-gratia each for the kin of dead in the cyclone and ₹50,000 for the injured.
