PM met Seychelles tortoise, but destroying Nicobar habitat: Jairam

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticised PM Modi after he posted a tribute for the Aldabra Tortoise in Seychelles. "This is typical of his masterly hypocrisy. The Great Nicobar Island Project he is bulldozing through will destroy habitats of...leatherback turtles," he wrote on X. Jairam further said he wrote letters to various ministries "but PM is hellbent on inflicting ecological disaster".
