PM Modi announces ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh for Mathura boat accident victims

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the loss of lives after a boat carrying pilgrims capsized in the Yamuna River in Mathura and announced an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and ₹50,000 to the injured. "I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. The local administration is assisting those affected," he said.
