PM Modi chose the name 'Operation Sindoor' for India's strikes on Pak, PoK: Report

Prime Minister Narendra Modi picked the name 'Operation Sindoor' for India's strikes on nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, PTI reported, citing official sources. The wives of the men killed in the attack became the "face of the tragedy", therefore, the name was reportedly considered the appropriate moniker.
