On the second day of his visit to Varanasi, PM Narendra Modi on Saturday morning visited Assi Ghat, where he offered prayers and then took a spade to start off the cleanliness drive at the Ghat. The PM also nominated 9 people, including Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav, to take the Clean India campaign forward.
