PM Modi condoles loss of 9 lives in Delhi building fire, announces ex gratia

PM Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of at least nine lives, including a 1.5-year-old toddler, in the fire at a four-storey residential building in Delhi's Vivek Vihar. He announced an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh for the kin of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured. Eyewitnesses claimed that an AC blast could have triggered the fire.
