PM Modi extends his greetings on Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of Maharashtra Day and Gujarat Day on Thursday. PM Modi stated that Maharashtra "remains a strong pillar of progress and...has remained connected to its roots". While, he said Gujarat "has distinguished itself for its culture, spirit of enterprise and dynamism". Maharashtra and Gujarat were created in 1960.
