PM Modi flags off India’s first-ever hydrogen train in Haryana

PM Narendra Modi flagged off India's first hydrogen-powered train from Jind Railway Station in Haryana on Friday. The indigenously developed train will operate on the 89-km Jind-Sonipat route. Powered by hydrogen fuel cells, it emits only water vapour and offers a cleaner alternative to diesel-powered trains. The train features 10 coaches and is powered by a 3,200 HP propulsion system.
