PM Modi gifts Sindarov's WC-winning scoresheet to Uzbekistan Prez

During his recent visit to Tashkent, PM Narendra Modi gifted Uzbek chess Grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov's original handwritten World Cup-winning scoresheet to Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Sindarov won the FIDE World Cup 2025 in Goa. "A scoresheet records the moves on a chessboard. Sometimes, it becomes part of a much bigger story," All India Chess Federation President Nitin Narang said.
