PM Modi highlights ancient link between Gujarat & Indonesia

PM Narendra Modi, in his historic address in Indonesian Parliament, highlighted the ancient link between the two countries. "Centuries ago, traders and Sufi saints from Gujarat travelled to Indonesia by sea...bringing with them the message and values of Islam," he said. "Even today, the exquisite Patola textiles of Gujarat are regarded here as symbols of prestige and distinction," he added.
