PM Narendra Modi on Sunday held a roadshow after he inaugurated the first phase of Delhi-Meerut Expressway, India's first 14-lane highway. The first phase, which cost ₹841 crore, was completed in 18 months, nearly a year ahead of the scheduled time. After completion, the expressway will reduce travel time from Delhi to Meerut from 4-5 hours to 45 minutes.
