PM Modi indulging in ‘confrontational federalism’, says Cong

Dismissing the Centre’s justification for the delay in releasing drought relief funds to Karnataka as an “outright lie”, the Congress accused PM Modi of indulging in “confrontational federalism”. The Centre said the state delayed submitting the proposal. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said eight months after the issue was raised, the Modi government is fabricating stories to defend its inaction.
