PM Modi lands on northeast's 1st emergency runway on highway, close to China border

In a historic moment, PM Narendra Modi landed on northeast's first Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) on Dibrugarh-Moran National Highway in Assam on Saturday. The ELF has been constructed close to the Chinese border. PM Modi was on board the C-130J aircraft and watched the air show. The IAF's Sukhoi Su-30MKI also took off from the ELF.
