PM Modi lauds UP village for planting 2,51,000 saplings in an hour

PM Narendra Modi, in his Mann Ki Baat address, praised a UP village in the Sujabad Domari area, Varanasi, for planting more than 2.51 lakh saplings in just one hour. The feat, achieved during a mega plantation drive, set a Guinness World Record, surpassing China's previous mark. "The most remarkable aspect of this effort was...large-scale public participation," PM Modi added.
