PM Narendra Modi on Thursday launched three PARAM Rudra supercomputers and a High-Performance Computing (HPC) system. The supercomputers, worth ₹130 crore, have been deployed in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata to facilitate advanced research in the fields of physics, earth sciences and cosmology. The HPC system will strengthen India's weather and climate research.
