Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Micro Units Development Refinance Agency (Mudra) Bank on Wednesday. The bank will cater to the financial needs of about 5.77 crore small business units. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, in his Budget speech, had announced to set up the Mudra Bank with a capital of Rs 20,000 crore.
