PM Modi launches special stamp to mark 200th anniversary of Mumbai Samachar

PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday released a special postal stamp commemorating the 200 years of the Mumbai Samachar newspaper. While addressing a gathering, PM Modi said, "Under the influence of foreigners, when this city became Bombay, even then this newspaper didn't leave its local connect." He added that regional newspapers played an important role in the Independence struggle.
