PM Modi lays foundation stone of ₹451-crore Lord Shiva-themed cricket stadium in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation stone of ₹451-crore Lord Shiva-themed international cricket stadium in Varanasi. The stadium will have trishul-shaped floodlights and a damru-shaped media centre. The foundation stone-laying ceremony was attended by former cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri, Dilip Vengsarkar and Kapil Dev among others.
