PM Modi meets B'desh govt's chief Yunus amid row over his '7 NE Indian states' remark

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the head of Bangladesh's interim government Muhammad Yunus on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok. The meeting comes amid row over Yunus' remark in China. "Seven states of India, the [northeastern] part called the 'Seven Sisters', they are...landlocked region...We are the only guardian of the ocean for all this region," he had said.
