PM Narendra Modi during his conversation with ‪Nikhil Kamath said, "When I became PM in 2014...Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his desire to visit my birthplace, Gujarat's Vadnagar." The PM added, "Xi told me we share a "special connection"....He told me, 'Philosopher Hiuen Tsang lived in your village for the longest time...On return to China, he lived in my village'."
