PM Modi's top advisor shares graph showing steep drop in India's fertility rate

Dr Shamika Ravi, a member of Economic Advisory Council to PM Narendra Modi, shared a graph showing a steep decline in India's fertility rate from 1880 to 2020. She shared a quote by late PM Indira Gandhi, advocating low birth rate. "While her contribution to India's prosperity...remains ambiguous, she was very clearly successful at lowering India's birth rate," Ravi said.
