PM Modi takes 'Hindu growth rate' jibe at Congress over slow growth rate under its rule

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the 'Hindu growth rate' jibe at Congress as he became India's longest-serving elected PM on Wednesday. PM Modi said the term was coined to put the blame for the slow development rate under Congress' rule on the country's vast Hindu population. "In reality, this phenomenon should have been named the Congress growth rate," he added.
